Eroica from Chateau Ste. Michelle and Dr. Loosen is a delightful Riesling again this year. The nose of the wine is light with hints of pear and a touch of lime. The light nose leads into a refreshing and crisp wine that is filled with balanced sweet flavors of green apple, pears and a touch of honey, it finishes with a little wet stone that adds the perfect balance. With a list price of $24.99 it’s on the high end for a Riesling but is worth every penny. –KM
