2007 The Wait Malbec

The Wait Malbec is light on the nose but the body is juicy and ripe, with raspberry, cherry and a hint of vanilla finish off a well balanced wine.

2007 J. Lohr Syrah

  Rating

This enjoyable wine is soft with balanced tannins, flavors of black cherry, currant and cranberry held together with medium body finish. It will pair well hearty steaks and foods with a little black pepper.

2007 Asunto De Vino Carmenere

  Rating
85
This is a nice wine with dark fruit and wet stone on the nose, with flavors of black pepper, tea and a little smoky on the palate. Sturdy tannins with a full body make this wine a great pairing with grilled steak.

2007 The Wait Cabernet / Syrah blend

  Rating
83
This is a 50/50 blend of Cabernet and Syrah from Mendoza, Argentina. The nose of the wine is youthful with dark fruit aromas. Flavors of cherry and black currant come on quick and fade away into a finish with an earthy finish.

2007 Robert Oatley Shiraz

  Rating

Dry with light tannins, a change from some of the fruitier wines in Australia. It has flavors ripe raspberries, blackberries and little spice.

Tastes tart and hard tannins, with unusual grape jolly rancher flavor that leads into a quick finish.
